الملخص الإنجليزي

The present research aims at finding out the effect of the strategy of Gigsuw on the acquisition of the concepts of Arabic grammar in the second grade intermediate students.

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher formulated the following zero hypothesis: There are no statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 among the average scores of the experimental group students Arabic grammar using the Gigsuw strategy and the average score of the students of the control group who studied the same subject in the traditional way.The research sample consisted of (60) second grade students from the middle school for girls.

The researcher prepared a test of (40) paragraphs and obtained the honesty and consistency, and then the test was applied in the final form on the research sample, and the following result emerged: 1-The strategy of Gigsuw is one of the modern models in teaching and it is an indicator of the students' access to the internal motivation of learning, which makes them the center of the educational process through active participation in the lesson.

2-The effectiveness of Gigsuw strategy in acquiring Arabic grammar concepts.
