The matter of the contribution of environment degradation in the worsening and instability of international relation covered by this research in the scope and conception of international law from international relations perspective.

The scholars when they are searching for the reasons of international conflicts they have been focused on the traditional causes such as politics, economics and ideological differences, but some of them started to search for other non-traditional causes such as environment degradation and to which extent this degradation contribute to undermine the natural resources or raw materials which is considered a strategic issue for countries that are trying to control and exploit it in order to achieve its national interests and for that sake if any damage for its environment consider a threat for these interests.

The research was presented different views of scholars, headed by (Homer Dixon) who were interested in studying the environment in the light of the evolution in the field of international environmental law and international relations, in addition this research was based on foreign sources of books and research thesis, as well as on international reports that issued by the international organizations.
