The State private land properties represent an important part of the administration activity through its efficient contribution in supporting the economy development in all fields, under the condition of being managed by rational administrative methods that achieve the requested aim.

This report attempts to shed light on the most important behavior that influence the State private land properties, namely the sale, through tackling its rules provided by the civil law, with clarifying the important differences touching these rules either increasingly or decreasingly.

Although the state ownership of these properties is private and not administrative, it is subject to civil law provisions, however this does not deny the existence of some change in the provisions resulting when the seller is the state or its local authorities, and when the sold property is a real estate owned by the state.
