God has distinguished man from the rest of his creatures, by Abstract- understanding himself and thus singled out by this characteristic which makes him aware of it - regardless of that perception and understanding, whether positive or negative - and make it the subject of reflection, thinking, research and evaluation, and in general, the individual selfrealization does not occur automatically or By chance, but it is through awareness, understanding, awareness and attention to the responses of the statements and actions of others issued towards them, as a reflection of the actions and behaviors emanating from him, and therefore the medium in which the individual lives and the environment that deals with it affects a large and significant in terms of helping to form a positive concept For the self and image acceptable to them, on the contrary, if the ocean in which the person is described as inferior and referred to the negative and lack of appreciation and respect for him, it is a source of understanding and the formation of a negative image of itself.

The current search aims to identify- : 1.Understand the self concept of middle school students 2.Identify the significance of the differences in self-concept among students in the preparatory stage according to the father's educational achievement.

3.The significance of the differences in self-concept among the students in the preparatory stage is defined according to the educational achievement of the mother.

In order to achieve the objectives of the current research: The sample was selected in the random stratified manner and in the equal manner of (100) students from the preparatory stage, specifically the fifth grade preparatory school of the Directorate of the third Rusafa on the basis of sex variables (male and female) for the academic year (2015-2016).

In order to measure their self-concept, the researcher relied on the scale of Zayat (2003), where the scale consists of (32) halves in the positive direction and half in the negative direction, each measuring an aspect of the self concept.

And the arbitrators and experts in this field, which represents the apparent truth, where the number of paragraphs of the measure (22) paragraph after arbitration, where the majority of the paragraphs on the degree of agreement between (85 - 100)% exception (10) paragraphs not agreed upon by three experts and more was deleted from the scale Extract the discriminant force of the scale paragraphs using the two groups method (0.05) except for three paragraphs (21,10,4) where they were excluded from the scale because they are less than the required level of significance and thus became the number of paragraphs The standard (19) is also the final form.

The calculation of the construction accuracy of the scale and the stability of the Vaccronbach method is obtained.

The consistency coefficient is 0.93.

Thus, the researcher reached the following results: 1.The research sample has a negative concept towards themselves.

2.There are no statistically significant differences between the self concept of middle school students and the academic achievement of the father.

3.There are no statistically significant differences between the self concept of students in the preparatory stage and the academic achievement of the mother.

In the light of the findings of the researcher, I made a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions mentioned in chapter IV.
