This research entitled “Grammarians point of view concerning the process of deletion in Arabic language” The process of deletion in Arabic Language is an elevated rhetorical technique in meaning expression through which the glamour and eloquence of Arabic is noticed.

As Abd ulqaher Aljerjani stated “ You will be the most capable of enunciation when you don’t enunciate and the most figurative when you don’t figurate” .

What was obvious in this research is that deletion is not random, on the contrary it has a proof and evidences that are related to it, such evidences can be in the form of content, pronunciation or mental.

In fact grammarian and rhetoricians considered deletion without a proof as prophetic, loquacity and not permitted in any condition.

Arab linguists have deleted either the sentence or single utterances, and letters formation without any speech misconception for different reasons; including abbreviations, avoiding futility and reminding of the fact that, time is not a pretext to restore what was deleted.

Deletion is also used for glorification, praise, vilification, pity, consolation.

In addition to commas treatment, assonance in prose and considering rhyme in poetic speech.
