This work seeks to study and analyze the Brazilian position on the Palestinian issue and its developments by examining the determinants and motives of Brazilian interest in participating in the efforts to resolve the Palcstinian-Isracli conflict.

It also aims at assessing the effectiveness of the Brazilian role and explores the future of this role.

This work concludes that Brazil, during the left-wing rule of the country (20032016-).

supported the Palestinian issue.

However, the Brazilian Middle East policy, that used to support the Palestinian people, has been undergoing some changes in the direction of support for Israel, after the right-wing Michel Tcmcr took over the presidency of Brazil in August 2016.
