Hydrologic studies are deals with the aquifers importance , that specially in the sub-dry, dry regions because the importance resources in this regions, that it,s suffer of less the resources.

The research is depend on the topographic maps by using Arc GIS 9.3 system.

The some samples are can treatment to characteristics identify, which can measuring, and the mathematic processes for the hydrologic characteristics identify.

Also the natural factors are influenced on the basin such as (Geologic, surface, and climate) characteristics .

The total basin area (10594) Km2, it,s including four secondary basins are different in the area (Al- werik , Abu- Guer, Al-Daer, secondary Al – kuseir) .

The research is deals with types of water resources (groundwater , surface) about (surface flow volume, and climatic water equalization) for Al- Salman station.

As well as the research is deals with the groundwater about physical and chemical characteristics and what can using this water of Human using, such as (drinking, irrigation, building , industrial).
