This study aims to address the interactive relationship established by users of the Algerian electronic media through electronic discussion.

It can be classified among the studies that raise the question of modernity.

The study explains the new structures of society, behaviours acquired in community composition, roles, functions and internal relations of its members.

Although it is difficult to determine the specific criteria of modernity because of the different authorities in the construction of this concept, it is agreed that the use of modern information technologies is the first manifestation of modernity.The present paper reveals the determinants of interactive relationship between users of the Algerian electronic media and takes the case of electronic discussions through Echorouk online forum as a model because Algerians’ culture and behaviours operate in parallel with their openness to the world.

Therefore, this study focuses on Algrians’changing attitudes towards the importance of media, and their acquisition of dialogue values via interactive features available on the internet by analyzing their interactive discussions through electronic press.
