This research is concerned with studying the contractual obligation of information as a legal guarantee to protect the consumer from the dangers of modern industrial products generated by technological development, in light of the knowledge differences that have characterized the contractual relationship between the strong professional and the weak consumer, who has become unable to adapt to these products due to the complexity of their manufacturing, which led the French-and then the legislation-to devote this obligation that compels the professional to provide the consumer with everything that would achieve the desired purpose of the product and avoid the risks that may result, especially since the general rules are no longer able to protect the consumer in this context.

Therefore, this study aims to investigate the hidden aspects of the information obligation by identifying the most important problems raised by its specificity, in terms of its concept, and scope, or in terms of its legal basis, content and nature, in order to recognize the extent to which Algerian legislator is interested in this obligation
