al-Imam Abu Al-Walid Al-Baji is one of the scientific poles in Maliki jurisprudence, those who have contributed to serving Maliki doctrine both its rules and branches.

This research aims to show Al-Baji's effective role and his numerous contributions, whether on teaching, debating, or authoring.

In that Al-Baji had a significant presence in different islamic sciences, especially in Maliki doctrine rules and branches.

Also, this study aims to highlight Al-Baji's efforts both in rules, and terminologies, which indicates his basic wide culture.

These efforts has shown through two way: rooting and achieving, whether on Maliki doctrine rules or its branches.

As well this study shown Al-Baji's efforts in Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), this is evidenced by his numerous books in Fiqh Maliki branches, especially in his precious book " Al- Muntaqa Sharh Al-Muwatta", which he served -by it- the Maliki doctrine
