This study addresses all textual readings of El Djahiz’s works for interpretation purposes.

Thiswill generatenewcontroversialreadings anddifferingexplanations regardingtheir natureand theircharacteristics and even theiraesthetic values.

This study is nota rudimentarysearch about ELDjahiz’s textsbut hasrather the ambitionto inventoryreceptiontypologiesthat markedthe works ofthis author.The purposewas to identify the dominant role of the new readings and receptions in the development of meaning and semantics of the text.

We would like to highlight the fact that readings and receptions from any text are dependent on their historical dimension and their cultural context.

Emerging readings are in relation with well-defined contexts.

Thus the study of the types of receptions is a new orientationthat will help both exploringEL Djahiz’stextual works and the nature of the constraints imposed by dimensional visions in the orientation of these new readings based on the meaning or semantics.
