In this present article we will focus on the Islamic solidarity finance foundations supporting investments and, as a case study, we will discuss and analyze the proposal ofWakf funds specialized in the finance of micro-projects for the poor, showing its social and economic importance, the elements of its establishment, its organization and its means of work, risks relevant to its activities and prudential rules of protecting them as well as indicators of evaluating its economic, social and financial performance.
