Algeria's mobile sector is considered one of the sectors of great importance as an infrastructure sector.

This is due to its transformation from a monopoly to the monopoly of a few in the entry of Orascom Telecom and Wataniya Telecom, which were credited with adopting top quality services at competitive prices.

This study aimed to partially eliminate the current competitors within Porter's five competitive forces, what are the structural factors that affect the Algerian mobile service sector, and the extent to which these factors explain the attractiveness of this sector; The spatial framework of our study of the Algerian mobile sector and its companies (Djezzy, Mobilis and ooreedo) is within the timeframe of - ; In this study, we relied on the analytical descriptive approach, which is based on compiling, comparing and analyzing information to reach generalizations, in addition to using quantitative techniques to measure concentration.

The study found that the low number of contestants (DJEZZY, Mobilis and OOREDOO) in the Algerian mobile service sector, and their concentration, in addition to the remarkable growth of mobile phone density and low fixed costs, the availability of institutional and government entry barriers, the policy of discrimination of both types, Limited competition in the sector, and thus increase its stability and profitability
