Both "Body schema" and "Body image" are considered to be of the concepts and terms used in neurological and psychological studies, which led to is conceptual confusion about them, because research about Body schema takes us into a conceptual problematic that overlap with the concept of body image, for many researchers, where often the they conceptually intersect.

The purpose of this study is to provide theoretical understanding account about the discrepancies between the two terms of the neuropsychological view and highlight the cerebral cortical areas that are working on the representing the body schema, as well as body image, and showing the differences between them.
