The success of any company depends on how much information it has.

Today, the world has huge knowledge explosion and great technical development known as the digital era, where modern life‘s demands have become a heavy burden on companies in general.

Digitization is considered, as one of the modern techniques adopted by information companies given is new functions and services, which contribute in the control of the huge amount of information on the one hand, and facilitate library wonk on the other hand, through overcoming routine, libraries had to put programs to enable the Liberian to deal with new digital techniques On that basis, this study is conducted to shed light in training needs of the library and information specialists in the digital environment and to uncover the difficulties they encounter.

The study is carried at the level of the central library of AL Amir Abdelkader university of Islamic Sciences, considered as a pioneers in this field.

The training needs of the workers of Dr Ahmed Arwa library and to investigate the extent to which authorities are aware of the importance of setting training programs to enhance the function and the services of the library.
