This article aims to address the concepts of the new rhetoric, according to which the different discourses still and remain games of strategies with high interpretative potential, using subterfuges of figurative seduction, argumentative persuasion and contextual abstraction or implementation, for more or less obscure purposes.

However, this entire seemingly manipulative and propagandistic din from the depths of rhetoric can be tempered by adopting questioning and self-criticism, as well as the multidimensional interpretation necessary in all discursive production and understanding, in order to mitigate the impact of speech of the extreme in our quest for truth
