This study has dealt with all the aspects concerned with the process of bank services development as a whole.

Accordingly, it was necessary to clarify the concepts related to the process of development by way of determining the available alternatives and devices for the development process.

In addition, it was necessary to determine the right time for the bank to develop the service that is entirely new, or to copy the services offered by competitions.

The various environmental, social, technological and economic factors, which directly or indirectly, affect the development of the banking services were taken in to consideration, since these factors, in turn, affect the bank's decisions regarding meeting the customer's definite needs, modifying the existing banking services, or creating completely new service.

Basically, this study has identified nine essential factors and test their impacts on the development of bank services in the Algerian commercial banks, as viewed by the Administrators involved in making decisions for development of service in those banks.

The factors have been identified through a survey of previously conducted studies in the field of this study .

and interviews made by the researcher with administration in those banks The factors were grouped in two categories: External factors and Internal factors.
