Medical profession has lofty values.

It is a human profession which, since ancient times, deals with relieving pain.

Nowadays, the profession became regulated and license is required for its practice.

Like all other professions, negligence and malpractice may occur in medical profession, and even though medical errors are unintentional, this entails negligence responsibility on the part of physician or treatment entity.

This study deals with the legal aspect of medical liability as per Federal Decree No.

(4) of 2016 on Medical Liability.

Study sheds light on permissibility in medical practice; patient's consent and the liability arising out of negligence and malpractice.

Study also explains the aforesaid decree and states penalties prescribed for negligence, taking into account therapeutic necessity and absence of criminal intent.

Study moreover touches upon liability arising from infringement of permissibility and requirements of medical practice.
