Emotional reassurance is a psychological dimension essential to mental health, psychological and social compatibility for each of us.

The current research aimed to measure the emotional reassurance of the educational counselors in the province of Basra for the academic year 2017-2018, which requires the construction of a tool for this psychological property and then applied to the basic research sample.

The results of the study indicated that the sample members enjoyed a high and positive level of emotional well-being in general, first and within the domains of the second scale, as well as the absence of significant and significant differences between male and female educational counselors in this characteristic.

The researchers presented some of the recommendations and proposals related to the current research topic
