This research is about the science of the well-known Islamic thinkers, who generally had a prominent role in human thought and specially in Islamic thought, and more specifically the science of Islamic philosophy; it is Muhammad Ibn Muhammad Ibn Tarkhan, nicknamed "Abu Nasr Al-Farabi." This research sheds light on Imam Al-Farabi's efforts in the development of the science of Islamic philosophy.

He talked about the importance of philosophy, and the place of philosophy in the country where he grew which is a Transoxiana.

Then I shed light on his birth and upbringing and his scientific journey to seek knowledge.

Then concluded to talk about his efforts in the development of the science of Islamic philosophy .I explained Imam Al-Farabi's reason and religion position; and that man was innocent of which he was accused.

Then stated some of his famous students who took knowledge from him, his most famous scientific writings.

And a finale which includes the most important findings of the research..
