Diabetes is a chronic disease that has become a threat to the health of the population, in view of the gravity it poses.

This disease has become one of the main causes of death in the world and Algeria as well as blood pressure, heart disease and cancers.

This situation is due to the lack of health awareness in patients which is the factor that lead to complications resulting from this disease.

Adding other factors such as social and economic ones which have an effective role in the spread of this disease and in the deterioration of the health state of patients.

Therefore, we are trying through this article to talk about the impact of economic factors on the health of diabetes patients in Algeria through the field study that we conducted on a sample of patients with diabetes in the health sector in Douéra.
