Looking at the Quran and trying to consider it carefully, we find that the Quran has paid attention to classifying Muslims in terms of work ,reward and punishment into three parts : unjust to himself, a moderate and the forerunner in charitable deeds .

That one who is unjust to himself is someone who has the origin of faith, that means he accepted Allah as a lord, Mohammed peace and blessings of Allah be upon him as a prophet and messenger , so he accepted Islam with knowledge and certainty, but he has not followed the path to Allah, but he is not fully righteous , because he followed his self desires committing sins to satisfy his commanding soul and responding to the Satan , so he is weak and defected when it comes to doing the religious duties that if not done, he is not considered as unbeliever , he also commits sins without thinking those sins are lawful, he rather believes that he has done something forbidden and violated the orders of his lord, that type of people falls under the verse of threatening in Quran which are applicable for murder , devouring the properties of orphans and other major sins .

If he dies before repentance, then his fate is for Allah, if he wills to forgive him or punish him.

The moderate is the one who completely adopted the Islam, doing the religious duties and not committing sins, but he pays little attention to Sunnah and good deeds and would do minor sins and abominations, this type will go to heaven by the mercy of Allah without being held accountable, because he completed the faith and pious acts, his rank in the heaven will be below that of the forerunner.

The forerunner is the one who reached the degree of benefaction , he does all that he was ordered to do whether that be a duty or desirable deeds , he seeks to be close to Allah, doing all what he is ordered to do and leaving all that forbidden .

He will be rewarded with highest rewards in this life and the afterlife, because he used to be a forerunner in this life, and thus he will be foremost to the highest heavens in the afterlife
