الملخص EN
The “back school” is a pedagogical approach aimd at the comprehension, treatment, prevention and follow-up of low back pain.
Its principle is based on the patient's contribution in the management of his suffering.
This enables him toplay an active role in his own health.
“Back schools”share the same objectives and principles.
On the other hand, they differ in their programs and methods.
However, the common points lie in the teaching of basic notions of anatomy, spinepathophysiology and biomechanical information.Given the extent of the low back problem in Algeria, it would be interesting to create “back schools”for chronic low back pain.
With regard to low back pain workers, it might be preferable to provide on-the-job training, in addition to corrective actions on the workplace and health education.
الملخص FRE
L’école du dos est une approche pédagogique pour la compréhension, le traitement, la prévention et le suivi de la lombalgie.
Son principe est de faire associer le patient dans la prise en charge de ses souffrances.
Ce qui lui permet d’être acteur de sa santé.Les écoles du dos partagent les mêmes objectifs et principes.
En revanche, elles se différencient par leurs programmes et méthodes.
Cependant les points communs sont l’enseignement de notions élémentaires sur l’anatomie du rachis et les informations d'ordre biomécanique.
Vu l’importance du problème lombalgique en Algérie, il serait intéressant de créer des écoles du dos pour les lombalgiques chroniques.
Pour les travailleurs lombalgiques, il serait préférable d’assurer la formation sur les lieux de travail en complément des actions correctives sur les postes de travail, et de l’éducation sanitaire.
