The current research aims to identify the causes of suicide from the point of view of Baghdadis.

The current research is limited to the male and female residents of Baghdad in all age groups in2017.

The researcher relied on the analytical descriptive method and the previous studies that examined the subject of suicide in order to identify the concept of suicide.The researcher constructed the current research tool.The questionnaire is based on the questionnaire of suicide causes from the Baghdadi point of view.It was built in the light of the open questionnaire and the previous studies.It consists of (16)paragraphs.

The researcher used the statistical bag(SPSS)to analyze the data.The researcher reached the conclusion that the level of the causes of suicide from the point of view(2)"The weakness of the religious faith and the satisfaction of the judgment of God and the value of the individual and the very feeling of despair of life",resenting their weight and their percentage weight respectively (27,2)(78,75),and the lowest grade was the share of paragraph(12)"Atthe alcohol and drugs by the mother or father or both,"as it represents the weight weighted and weight percentile respectively(96,1), (44.65),and based on the results reached the researcher to some conclusions and recommendations and proposals.
