الملخص الإنجليزي

This thesis presented the mechanisms available to end unequal treaties in public international law, which involved unequal contractual positions between parties and a lack of privileges and obligations.

It used the descriptive and analytical approach to describe unequal treaties and the criteria relied on, the political, economic and military implications, analyzing the legal texts to indicate the position of international law, and indicating the rules in which the termination of such treaties may be invoked.

Thesis found a number of results, the most important of which is that unequal treaties constitute a phenomenon of the development of the colonial problem, especially, after the means of power is not commensurate with the development reached by the international community.

The most important recommendations of this thesis are to make a series of amendments to the Vienna Convention, and the most important of these amendments is to explicitly stipulate the invalidity of unequal treaties.
