دور الجامعات الفلسطينية في متابعة الخريجين و أثره على فاعلية البرامج الخاصة بهم من وجهة نظر الخريجين : دراسة مقارنة

The study aimed at identifying the role of the Palestinian universities in following-up graduates and its impact on the effectiveness of the universities' programs from the perspective of the graduate through a comparison study between the Islamic University of Gaza, An-Najah National University, and University College of Applied Sciences.

The researchers collected data using a questionnaire as a primary tool of data collection.

The researchers adopted the analytical-descriptive approach.

The researchers distributed (450) questionnaires using stratified random sample.

Some of the questionnaires were filled electronically by the sample due to the geographical distance between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The researchers used SPSS program to analyze data.

The study results showed that there is a role of universities in rehabilitating the graduates and developing their characters through; different programs presented by alumni units and continuing education centers, the availability of laboratories and equipment supporting these programs.

The results also showed that there is a gap between theoretical and practical education.

The study recommended that there is a need for correcting weaknesses and increasing attention on keeping tracks with the graduates and providing them with different training programs.

Alumni units in the targeted universities should develop work environment of the graduate, and enhance their skills by providing free training and rehabilitation programs.
