The theory of argumentation is considered a natural development of criticism theories in detecting characteristics of literary work and as a tool to optimally disclose active discourse elements.

Hence this theory left a great impact on literary works in modern, as well as classical pieces The structural narrative of Hariri's Maqamat* is directed at recipients of a particular temporal culture.

This kind of discourse is aimed at reaching out through multi layered features of narrative creativity with its era, stylistic features, and highly intellectual elements that are effective in the process of communication This research focuses on one of the tools of the structure of (narration).

This research deals with narration argumentation in the Maqamat of Hariri and its impact on the structure of the Maqamah and the works of Hariri.

The researcher divided the narration into two sections, horizontal and vertical narrations, covering two types of narration, namely verse and pros in order to identify the most important methods that organized the premises of Hariri in the narrative and the use of this tool as an effective argumentation tool in the structure of Maqamat.
