he study aims to identify the relationship between Psychological Security and depression in orphaned children , and also to identify the impact of both sex and orphan status on the variable Psychological Security and variable Depression , and also applied a sample of orphaned children in Medéa City , and used the descriptive approch , and was used in the study of Psychological Security skyle prepared by Fahm Dlim and others , and skyle depression prepared by Abdel Khalek .

this study found the following result : An inverse relationship between Psychology Security and Depression , besides the absence of differences in Psychological Security due to gender and orphan status ( orphan mother , orphan father ) , and found also the absence of differences between males and females in depression , and besides significant differences between the mother's orphans and father's orphans in favor of the mother's orphans
