الملخص EN

This study aimed at investigating the impact of the characteristics of information technology on knowledge management functions in the al Hussian Bin Talal University.

To achieve the aim of the study self administrated questionnaire was used to collect the data.

It was developed and distributed to a sample of (336) Persons.

The statistical package of social science (Spss) was used to a analyze the data of the questionnaire.

The study reached at a set of finding: There is an impact of characteristics of information technology dimensions in knowledge management functions which explains (48.7%) of variation in the dependent variable (knowledge management functions).

The study recommended the need to take the role in interest in the dimensions of information technology and promotion because of their impact on performance, increase staff satisfaction and improve the knowledge management functions
