ICT is a key factor in production, as is capital, labor and raw materials, if not more important, because it is the engine and main catalyst for qualitative growth.

In fact, the ability of enterprises to innovate has a direct impact on their competitiveness and performance.

Successful enterprises are characterized by the use of technology and unique product production, an internal capacity to develop development plans, and an effective mechanism to meet market needs.

The research aims to identify the impact of information and communication technology as a new tool in the industrial sector on the industry, and the development of the industrial production process using modern technological means based on advanced technologies that helped in the process of productivity and its effects on different levels of production and transport as well as storage and marketing of goods and employment .

And the status of the use of information and communication technology in the large and medium industrial enterprises in Iraq (as the most industries in the field of application of information technology and communication) as well as services and jobs obtained by the large and medium industrial enterprises of information and communication technology.

And analysis of spatial variation of the use of information technology geographically and for all sectors and by industrial branches.

The research found that there is a spatial and sectoral disparity at the level of industrial branches in both the number of large and medium Iraqi manufacturing enterprises and their employees, in the preparation, types and use of ICTs, in the use of the Internet in terms of communication and type of communication package, Contrast in types of services and jobs acquired by large and medium industrial enterprises of information and communication technology.
