In her essay entitled “Kant’s Philosophy: Atheist or Theist?”, the Egyptian researcher Sabrine Zaghloul presents the dynamics of various interpretations which have diverged in their consideration of Kant towards two opposites: atheism and theism.

Zaghloul attempts to challenge the contradicting interpretations which differ on whether Kant was atheist or maintained a rational belief, and she proceeds to criticize the secularist and atheist movements which took hold of the Kantian text in order to exploit it in their ideological spheres.
