This research is entitled Knowledge Management in Libraries and Informatio Centers: Proposed Standards.

Knowledge management in the field of libraries and information centers, focusing on the basics of knowledge management and operations in libraries and information centers in a systematic manner.

The researcher used a set of standards, including : Standards Australia, British Knowledge Management Standards and other general knowledge management standards in the absence of specialized standards for libraries in the Arab world.

In order to come up with a detailed list of standards, which can be applied in libraries and information centers and taking into account the social, economic, political, cultural and educational conditions of the Arab society.
