Nation- State Sovereignty is often thought to be synonymous with Westphalian Sovereignty which assumes the absolute control of Nation- States over all conduct that occurs within their own territories.

The nation’s sovereignty is “exclusive and absolute”.

In the era of globalization, states have become neither weaker not less important.

Globalization is homogenizing the world but as much different cultures and identities are there.

In this way Daniel Bell observes that “The sate was becoming too small to handle really big problems, and too large to deal effectively with small one.” The issue of sovereignty in the context of rapidly changing world, is not necessarily mean the end of Nation- State.
