The author treats the idea of excessive trust toward the progress in the field of language teaching.
He provides criticism on the work of some specialists in relation to the necessary conditions for an efficient change.
Sequentially, he suggests a number of possible solutions considering the particularity in evolution of the French educational system.
He also emphasized on the necessity of viewing the progress critically, giving priority to the values of the French society rather than accepting it as an absolute universal idea.
Consequently, this should be treated as dynamic matter that is subject to evolution and diversity away from ideological fanaticism.
الملخص FRE
L’auteur examine le problème de la confiance excessive envers l’idée de progrès dans le domaine de la didactique des langues.
Il expose sa critique sur le travail de quelques spécialistes en ce qui concerne les conditions nécessaires pour faire un changement efficace.
En revanche, il propose un nombre de suggestions en considérant la particularité de la progression dans le système scolaire français.
Il souligne la nécessité de voir le progrès dans une dimension critique en donnant la priorité aux valeurs de la société française au lieu d’accepter le progrès comme une idée universelle.
Par conséquent, ce sujet doit être traité selon sa nature dynamique et hétérogène dans un espace de tolérance et de liberté d’expression loin de toutes attitudes fanatique, idéologique, autoritaire et normative.
