This article is an investigation into habermas’s theory of right and jurisprudence, the following is intended to introduce the reader to the concepts and requirements of habermas’s philosophy and practical reflections on right and legitimacy.

For Habermas modern law is not only a means for the exercise of administrative and political power, but still works as a medium of social integration.

On the relationship between law and morality , answering complementary inadequacies of legal positivism and theories of natural law, he concludes that the legitimacy of the law should not be equated with moral validity , nor the right should be totally separated from morality.
