الملخص EN

The present research focused on the study of the role of the alignment between the strategy and the organizational structure of the Algerian banks.

To do this, we used the questionnaire to collect the data needed for this research.

This is a questionnaire that was distributed to 118 executives of Algerian banks.

We used the SPSS statistical analysis program to analyze the data and verify our assumptions.

We concluded at the end of this research that the alignment between the strategy and the organizational structure contributes significantly to achieving a good strategic performance of Algerian banks.

This means that the alignment between the strategy and the organizational structure has a big role to play in achieving a good strategic performance because of the influence of the resources of the company and the factors particular of the environment.

This is not the case with general environmental factors that have no influence on strategic performance.

We also concluded that demographic variables have nothing to do with significant differences in alignment between strategy and organizational structure
