The current research deals with the Sufi symbolism in the works of one of the most prominent and greatest Sufis figures, Mohieddin Ibn Arabi.

His works are characterized by a special metaphorical language using symbolism, ambiguity and closure as main features, exposing symbolism as a concept in general and from a Sufi perspective particularly.

The research also attempted to address a group of symbols that Ibn Arabi employed and adopted their inner meanings to reach his objectives.

Then concluded the research by mentioning the most important characteristics that distinguish the language Ibn Arabi uses.
