This research aims to identify the difference between the irrational thoughts for the Jazan University' students in the special education major according to the sex variable.

It also seeks to determine the spread level of the irrational thoughts between them.

This study included (114) participants from the college of education at the Jazan University.

The sample was selected randomly and divided by (50) male and (64) female.

The researcher used the irrational thoughts scale to collect the data prepared by Klages in (1989).

The results of this study show that there is a difference on scale attributed to sex variable.

Besides, the findings display that the rate spread of the irrational thoughts by (3.85) among students in course four in the special education major.

Finally, the scale dimensions arranged according to the following: dependency, low self-esteem, internal attribution of failure, and excessive sensitivity
