The current study was designed to determine The level of mental health among public schools teachers and its relation to their performance in light of irregular salary level.

The study sample consisted of (176) teachers, used a questionnaire of (44) items to achieve the objectives of the study, distributed on two dimensions.

The most important results of the study were the mental health professional performance of the majority of teachers negatively affected by the irregular salaries, and there is a clear correlation between the mental health level of government for teachers, and the level of professional performance in light of the irregularity of their salaries, and the results showed a statistically significant difference between the mean study sample responses according to the sex variable (teachers - teachers) for the benefit of teachers.
