This study aims to demonstrate the role of knowledge management to motivate the innovation process in the organization, in order to achieve optimal performance that distinguishes the organization from others.

To achieve this objective the study was submitted to three axes, the first axis is dedicated to the study of the theoretical roots of knowledge management, and the second axis deals with the theoretical background of the innovation process, and third axis discusses the report and the relationship of knowledge management with the innovation in the organization process.

the study concludes that knowledge has a great role on the efficiency and effectiveness of business organizations activities, also found the most important results is that there is a very close relationship between knowledge and management innovation, and that knowledge management contributes to innovation of the organization through its impact on the various dimensions such as people, processes and products.
