The study aims at identifying the relationship between the prayer (Al-Salat) and the emotional balance among the students of Mogadishu University The researcher used descriptive method in which sample size of 201 students was randomly selected.

In the field of data analysis the study used statistical processing with the Pearson correlation coefficient.

The main findings of the study: there is a positive relationship of correlation between the prayer and the emotional balance among the students of Mogadishu University.

Finally, the researcher recommends that recognition the importance of prayer with (Jama’a) association and taking into account, keeping its times and the need to hold public lectures in promoting the importance of prayer as well as working to develop the level of psychological security through holding of seminars, courses and psychological support programs during academic activities.
