The odonym tracks a space and defines a place.It polarizes all the historical divisions and political and ideological tensions.It is a place of memory, avenue du 8 mai 1945.
it is also assigned a dedicatory function.
The odonyms serve unquestionably several areas: history, tourism, communications, security, land registry, backup, etc.
But why the name (street name) is always popular supplant the name officially assigned? The answer is not easy.
Any response remains potentially questionable.
This is an attempt to make intelligible the conditions for onomastic activity, specifically odonymique.
الملخص FRE
L'odonyme trace et délimite un espace et situe un lieu.
Il polarise toutes les dissensions historiques et tensions politiques et idéologiques.
C'est un lieu de mémoire, avenue du 8 mai 1945.
Il lui est attribué également une fonction dédicatoire.
L’odonymie sert, à la fois et indiscutablement, plusieurs domaines : histoire, tourisme, communications, sécurité, cadastre, secours, etc.
Mais, pourquoi le nom (odonyme) populaire vient toujours supplanter le nom officiellement attribué ? La réponse ne serait pas aisée.
Toute réponse demeure potentiellement contestable.
Il s'agit d'une tentative de rendre intelligible les conditions d'une activité onomastique, plus précisément odonymique.
