Algeria has made important steps in terms of development in general and industrial development in particular.

Algeria has established the material basis for this development through the creation of the necessary infrastructure and the result of this trend has materialized by significantly accelerating the indices of industrial production and value added compared to the nineties.

The number of industrial enterprises activating in this field has increased, we have recorded some positive results in some branches of the manufacturing industry, but the general situation of the sector remains a little worrying because of the difference between the demand growing and supply that sometimes responds to demand, but often is unable to meet even a portion of that demand.

In addition, the contribution of the manufacturing industry to GDP remains low
