This study deals with a significant morphological aspect in the Arabic language, namely generating automatically verbs in Arabic.

The first part of the study introduced a summary for the basic morphological rules of verbs and their derivations in Arabic through referring to old and contemporary books of the Arabic language.

The researcher introduced these rules in a way similar to language engineering.

In the second part, the researcher moved to build rules for generating verbs of three or four letters roots (of a base or suffixed forms) in Arabic language where he presented them in tables clarifying the stages for forming these verbs.

The rules for generating verbs are divided into two parts.

The first one dealt with rules of verb morphology and the second part addressed the rules for writing the glotal stop (alhamzah) and giving examples on vocalism, assimilation and substitution after generating verbs.

The researcher basically relied on Taj ALarous lexicon for deriving verbs and their stems or roots as this dictionary is regarded as one of the richest lexicon in the Arabic language.

Regarding the application part of the study, the researcher described and tagged the rules related to the morphology of verbs in Arabic and their derivations where reference was made for the purpose of syntactic comuterized processing.
