This study seeks to assess the extent to which Arab kids’ channels fulfill their ethical responsibilities.

The channels that were considered in this study were the following: Al-Majd, Al-Jazeera for Children, Spacetoon, Cartoon Network, Ajyaal, Karamish, Nachledaon, MBC 3, and TuyoorAl-Jannah.

These channels were closely examined for their programs, participants, dramas, and advertisements.

This study has employed the descriptiveanalytical method.

The study’s eight-parameter sample consisted of eight kindergarten teachers employed at the Gulf Girl’s Association in Al-Khobar in Saudi Arabia.

The main study tool comprised observation cards of 10 channels.

Open interviews with the teachers and the associated observations led to the conclusion that the channels’ ethical responsibilities were not fulfilled.

TV programs and advertisements on these channels were found to have an overall average of 1.80 and 1.79 respectively, which indicates that they fall within the categories of ‘weak’ and ‘very weak’.

The channels’ dramas were found to have an average of 1.87, indicating that they fall within the weak category in terms of fulfillment of ethical responsibility.

The average of the focus of TV programs was 1.80, which also falls within the weak category, while ads and participants fell within the very weak category, with an average of 1.44 and 1.79 respectively.

The analysis of the results of the semi-structured interviews in conjunction with the study sample led to the conclusion that the content of media channel exerts a significant influence on children’s knowledge, ideas, practices, and behaviors
