This work is a practical study conducted on two Qur’anic surahs namely’’ Al- Anbiyà’’ and ‘’Al-Qasas’’ aiming to bring to light the impact and the role of deictic connectors that express exception especially the manner that they relate the different parts of the texts of the Qur’anic Story by analyzing some practical examples from the so-called suras according to a descriptive method as well as to statistical and analysis procedures .

The present work has come to conclusion; the most important of which are that the prepositions play an important role in the realization of the textual cohesion of the different parts of the Qur’anic Story, especially by linking previous elements to those following and by the collaboration of other connectors
