The reasons for the fall in oil prices are due to the global decrease in demand for this vital commodity, in addition to the increase in production on the one hand, and US rock oil on the other hand, where a number of people consider that this drop is not due to economic considerations, but to political reasons .The dependence of the Algerian state on oil prices for financing the development projects as a prior investment sector among the other sectors, led to the dependence of its plans and economic programs on the international oil price, and affect its economy by this collapse, as it showed a deficit in the trade balance, a rise in the deficit of the capital account against a decrease in total exchange reserves, and a deterioration in growth rates.

Public finance has been affected by the drop in oil prices.

This is illustrated by the high budget deficit and a rapid decline in fund assets.

We will show through this paper, the impact of oil prices fall on the Algerian economy, where we will present the various crises of oil prices, the extent of the impact of these crises on the national economy, and the efforts of the state to confront this crisis
