This research seeks to shed light on one of the phenomenon that have blot in recent years, namely it information which have affected the commercial law in most of its provisions, and account to the emergence of a new style of business, namely e-commerce, which necessitated the emergence of electronic means of payment to fulfill the obligations arising from the this trade, and most important of these means the electronic bill of exchange, so we will try in this paper to stand on the concept of this medium, revealing the meaning of which, and the circumstances that the emergence and evolution, as discussed types and characteristics, then stand on the legal nature of it.
