The study aimed to identify the role of social institutions as a service generality in the care of orphans, from the viewpoint of workers in social institutions in the Jordanian society, and the study sample consisted of 250 employees.

For the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study was to develop a questionnaire to measure what should be measured, and which consisted of 18 paragraph in the final image, it has also been a semantics validity and reliability of the instrument And the results of the study were as follows: Regarding the role of social institutions in the care of orphans healthy sample study showed that social institutions seeking to provide a comprehensive treatment program, and medicines provided through the proposed therapeutic programs are comprehensive for all diseases.

Regarding the role of social institutions in the care of orphans educationally sample study showed that the social institutions provide the necessary books for the orphans of the educational process subjects.

The sample also showed that there are certain percentages of university seats which seeks to secure social institution to affiliates of orphans.

The role of social institutions in the care of orphans socially and economically, the most important factors offered by the social institution that is the moral environment that are commensurate with the community.

In addition to the material requirements of life Finally, regarding the role of social institutions in the care of orphans and recreational sports sample study showed that institutions organize sports and recreational competitions and useful value for the orphans.

Where the study recommended the application of legislation and laws on orphans and organized by social welfare institutions and make them more compatible with the Convention on the Rights of the Child materials to ensure the protection of their rights.

Work on the development of educational and social welfare programs for orphaned children through coordination between government and civil institutions.
