Our research paper aims to shed light on some basic foundations of managing economic crisis, as well as the protection of the nation from economic risks .

Our choice was on the story of the prophet Yussuf (PBUH).

That contains basic elements from which the prophet founded and still remains deep-rooted up to day.

These foundations aim to achieve economic security since it is inspired from the Islamic law.

Allah says: “Oh who Believe, enter in peace all of you and do not follow the satan's steps; he is a clear enemy to you”.

The prophet Yussuf introduces a reformist program based on a long term plan to confront a crisis in which Egypt lived once, and later reached Palestine too.

The plan enclosed the enter balance between four economic operations: Production, consumption, saving then reinvest part of the saving.

He defined the objectives of of each economic process, In addition to that, he determined the policies, means, procedures and plan schedule.

Then he started to the execution phase.

Without neglecting the ethical side, which represents the change axe, He did not put his plan into practice before extracting the evidence of his innocence
